Having all required documents and acceptable identification ready in advance helps prevent delays and ensures compliance with federal employment verification requirements.

Have Your Original Identification Ready

• The Authorized Representative must physically inspect your original identification documents in accordance with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Form I-9 requirements. Photocopies, scanned copies, digital images, or expired identification documents cannot be accepted unless specifically permitted by USCIS regulations.

• If your employer requires copies of your identification to accompany the completed I-9 form, please make clear color copies before your appointment. The Authorized Representative can initial the copies if your employer requests this; however, providing the copies is the employee's responsibility.

 

Arrive Prepared and On Time

• Please respect your scheduled appointment by being fully prepared and available upon the Authorized Representative's arrival. We allow a 15-minute grace period for appointments. If you are not ready within that time or do not have the required identification documents, the appointment may be cancelled and the service fee is non-refundable.

• Failure to provide acceptable identification or required documentation is the responsibility of the employee and may require scheduling a new appointment, subject to additional fees.
